Air Defence operations have improved significantly over the past few decades. They are crucial for success in wars as well as force preservation and survival. A strong Air Defence system is vital for peace, competition, and conflict. It must be able to defend both the borders and the hinterland. This domain has been highlighted by recent events in Israel-Gaza, Nagorno–Karabakh and other conflicts. Air Defence has been a key area in the transformation of Indian Armed Forces (currently underway) and the creation the Integrated Air Defence Command.
On 15 July 2022, an International Seminar on \"Air Defence India” will be held. This is a physical event that takes place in person. It aims to gather inputs and inform the industry about the expectations and requirements. This topic is of particular importance due to the imminent reorganisation and the emergence of the joint Air Defence Command.
